can anybody from ankara please help me find the place? i'd like to learn how i can get from the airport (hope there is only one, isn't there?) to çehre sokak no.1/12 (by bus or something).

Only the name of the street isn't enough for anyone to be able to find the exact place.(Unless you came across with one who is habitant of Çehre Sokak). There must be more details, such as the name of a quarter, say, "Kavaklıdere".

Example:

Çehre Sok. No.11/5 Kavaklıdere(Or Küçükesat, Olgunlar, etc.)

OK. I searched Çehre Sok. on google, and it seems to be located in Gaziosmanpaşa.

Now the more detailed address:

Çehre Sok. No.1/12 Gaziosmanpaşa/ANKARA

I am sure you could easily use bus or dolmuş or take a taxi to get Gaziosmanpaşa.

there is some additonal abbreviation in the address: G.O.P. is it same with Gaziosmanpaşa?

so, fully it looks like: Çehre Sokak No: 1 / 12 G.O.P./ANKARA

Get the Havaş service bus to the Ulus or Kızılay. (not sure if they drop the passengers in Kızılay)Then a take a taxi to Gaziosmanpaşa. It is not far from Ulus. You can get on a bus going there as well.(If you take a taxi to the place at the airport it costs much.)
