My first Turkish Question...

I am writing my love , and trying to master the teses- I want to ask him in the past tense if he read my e-mail.
How is this:
e-mail okudunuz mu?
This is my very first Turkish anything- so please be kind.

I meant to say that I am trying to master the "tenses" verb forms.

Well it's really quite good and Omer would definitely understand you!!
But -unuz- is polite. You don't have it in English, but in Turkish there's the difference between 'siz' and 'sen'. To Omer you can ofcourse use -sen- and the suffixes that belong to -sen- 
You also forgot to add the suffix for 'my' in 'my e-mail'. But I'm not sure how to use it. E-mail is e-posta, but i think they also use e-mail.

uniwerse is correct.
Both in the first and second messages accusative case suffix is missing.
okumak is transitive and takes *i case.
"-i okumak" > to read something.
These are correct:
Emaili okudun mu?
Emaili okudunuz mu?
Emailimi okudun mu?
Emailimi okudunuz mu?

Ah ok. Can we say that it takes the accusative suffix because the possesive suffix makes it a defined word? (we know what e-mail we're talking about, MY email, thus it takes the accusative state?).
I still suck at using the accusative.

The accusative case simply means,the thing,which the process of the verb is falling on it,or hmmm depending on it,like this
Notice here
E-maili yazıyorum....writting an email, you ask yourself,the verb is to write,to write what? to write an email,then the e-mail will be in the accusative case
Again,
okulu gidiyor
Gitmek, is going, ...going where? where would be the action of the verb ?
On okul, then okul would be in the accusative state
Onu Seviyorum... çok seviyorum
Whom i am in love with ? i am in love with him, so (O ) would be in the accusative case
And so on
