I've been to Sirince It's lovely!!!
Kadir and I are going back there soon, to get drunk from allll the delicious wines that are there!! Obviously I had to behave with my parents around and Kadir was our driver, so we only sipped a bit Strawberry and cherry were my favourites! I uploaded some pics somwhere.

Ohh the blackberry wine is realllyyy good too. Usually blackberry is my favourite in anything Ohh I wish I could go back there soon. I read that the best times to go are in early spring and early autumn, because of the greenness of the hills. But it is also said that the autumn-season is rather rainy, is that true?
I'd love to stay at Nisanyan Inn.. it look sso lovely but it's rather expensive unfortunately!

Mumfitt and I stayed overnight in Şirince while in Turkia.
We did a trip to Efes which involved an overnight stop which was at a little traditional hotel in the hill above Şirinceköy. It was great and we had to light a fire to get hot water!!!
The only problem was that we were not there long enough to see the village properly or really enjoy the ambience......but one day we may go back

Do you remember the name of that hotel, Bod?
I'd love to stay in a traditional hotel where you'd have to light a fire for warm water! I'm hoping to learn about a nice, cosy place, so that I can advice it to Kadir instead of him taking me somewhere all the time

Ahh ok Well that's what I read about on the itnernet!! But it's expensive for Turkish standards. Anyway, I guess we can pay that just for a few nights! It's exactly the hotel I wanted to go to Amazing
There's a whole story about that hotel. And the owner also wrote this ethymological dictionary that I'm dying to have!
