Well I don't have a boyfriend in Marmaris, but I can assure that it happens quite regularly that the internet ocnnection of a certain region goes down for a while! Sometiems it takes a couple of minutes, sometimes a couple of hours!

My boyfriend livs in Izmir and a couple of months ago that happened regularly too. I don't think it went down in all of Izmir, but it did in his neighbourhood. He lives in a different neighbourhood now and we haven't had that problem for a long time!!

I was IM/MSN about an hour ago with my boyfriend in Istanbul, and within the span of 45 minutes, his Internet shut down and closed our video conference 3 times- .

????

I can just imagine her running round going aaaaarrrrrghhhh no internet :-@ lol

It can also depend on his internet provider.. Or maybe his datalimit is not that big, or he has dial-up connection.. these make video-conferences a bit hard..

He IM's from an internet cafe near his house- it has a high speed dsl (I don't - I have dial-up, but am getting DSL next week so my speed is better). We Videocall every Sunday, but this never happened before. ???

internet connections in big cities such as istanbul ,ankara antalya, izmir are quite fast and good.I dont think that will have around 1 hours disconnect.if it happens,it would be a news on TV
