It is a real good film. The camera and direction work is fantastic and the way the story is presented, is captivating. Some scenes are pretty horrible, others bring you tears or make you smile.

It's indeed mainly in German, there are a few Turkish conversations. The music in the film is chosen really well, for as far as I can judge.

I think it's really a very good film, no wonder they took it as their start

I loved the film so much that I bought it on DVD.

Yes, this is a very good film. There are Turkish dialogues sometimes, ist's great to here the difference between Turkish spoken by German Turkish and Turkish from Istanbul (there are scenes in Istanbul and wonderful music, especially Turkish song during the whole film)

Yes!

By the way, I suppose you remember that there are musicians and a female singer, who sing several times near the Bosphorus? Have you got any idea who they are? I really loved that song, but I couldn't find who they were on internet and the DVD I left in Türkiye already.

I was asking the same question, but my Turkish friends had no idea. i loved that song...
But I suppose it must be some traditional turkish song, like Türkü or something. Maybe some other groups or singers sing it too. unfortunately I don't remember the lyric to search for it in internet or to ask someone...

That's a good idea! As soon as I'm in Turkey and am able to watch the DVD (obviously I haven't got a DVD player there ), I will listen carefully and write some of the lyrics down so that I can find! What a great idea! I'll let you know once I found out who that group is or what the song is called

I watched. There are many good and bad points, I think. The scenerio is pretty good but the shape of presentation is too breakneck...

Sometimes i felt very shame on that...
