measurement units for cooking :(

Hi!

An idea to cook baklava maybe this weekend suddenly came to my mind I have found lots of recipes on the net. But I was struck by the fact that the measurement units used in those recipes are pounds (that's actually ok, as I can always find what a pound is in grams) but also CUPS :-S

It is absolutely uncommon for Russia to use these units

Has anybody please got any idea of how many grams or millilitres there are in one 'cup'??

As far as I know, the "cups" measuring system is only used in USA, not Turkey. Anyway..this should help:-

Oh sorry Rena, the conversions I gave you were to UK Imperial measurements. Here is the metric conversion table.
