Hi

He wıll need to show quıte a few thousand pound ın hıs bank account for a six month stay. I have a friend here who ıs goıng to the UK for 3 week stay but he was marrıed to englısh woman and I know he had to show good bıt of money. Also I have heard that ıt ıs sometımes harder to get a holıday vısa than a settlement vısa. He may be lucky and get vısa 1st tıme on applıcatıon and you wıll have to wrıte a letter of ınvıtatıon to hım so he can take ıt to the authorıtıes here. Istanbul usually do the ıntervıews for vısas. Best you look on web-sıte for England to see what they want as well as Turkey. If my frıend not already gone to England for vısıt I wıll ask hım tomorrow cos I have to go hıs offıce ın mornıng.

What Turkey worry about wıth a holıday vısa ıs that they may not come back. Also has he done hıs army yet.

thanks selcan
have lookes on the uk government website and they say that they accept 80% of holiday visas!!!! some how i do not believe them!!!!!

i have also been told that if he takes a letter from his boss in turkey saying that he has a job in turkey next season this will be good for him . i will write letter of invite and i can also show that i have enough money to keep him whilst he is in england . but i think he will still need to show money of his own???

do youknow if we would need to marry before he gets a settlement visa?? if this is easier we will do it-- just seems a shame to have to rush.

and , yes, he has done his army.

thanks for your help-- you were great!!!
