* The messengers of autumn: spiders |
+1
I love Autumn but s..s...sp...sp..spiders! OHMYGOD! My dad made me some "window screens" for all my windows a few years ago and they work REALLY well! I haven't seen a spider in the house YET so far..... |
Did you know that there are about 1000-2000 spiders in an (average) house?
And that you swallow about 7 spiders while you are sleeping? (no, not 7 a night, it's 7 a lifetime if you're lucky )

Quoting libralady: It is all to do with your blood group - apparently! Luckily I have the right sort of blood and dont get bitten, A Rhesus Neg and my husband who gets bitten alive is O |
Yes it is! that's why Turks do not get bitten as much as British people when in Turkey. I was the only that didn't get bitten in my family when we went to Turkey (eveyone else got bitten rather bad) haha I suppose it is because they have British Blood and I don't

Well I suppose my bad news is that I have just come out of an operation and feel a little rough and the day before that I had results from tests I had and I ended up being diagnosed with Kienbock's disease, which basically means I am in a cast for 4 weeks, a splint for 6 weeks and if it doesn't help surgery, AGAIN!!
But the operation i've had has an advantage as it requires me to have two weeks rest, which means I can carry on with writing my poetry
