Welcome To Turkey

Turkey is a paradise of sun, sea, mountains, and lakes that offers the holiday maker a complete change from antieties and routine of everyday life. From April to October, most parts of Turkey have an ideal climate, providing perfect conditions in which a visitor can relax on the sandy beaches or enjoy the peace of mountains and lakes.Turkey has a magnificent past, and is a land full of historic treasures covering thirteen successive civilizations.Even a person who spends only a little time in Turkey can see something of this great past.
In recent years Turkey has become a major tourist destination in Europe. With the development of both summer and winter resorts, more and more people from all over the world are able to enjoy the history, culture, and beautiful sites of Turkey. From swimming in the Mediterranean to skiing Uludağ,Turkey has something to offer every tourist. In Turkey there are about 1000 thermal springs scattered throughout western Anatolia. There are boundless choices where nightlife in Turkey is concerned. In Ankara,İstanbul and Izmir, the State Symphony Orchestra and State Opera and Ballet offer the works of Turkish and foreign composers.Alongside the Turkish theatre, there are foreign theatrical groups which come to Ankara,İstanbul, and Izmir time to time. For a different view of the nightlife in Turkey, there are nightclubs and colourful night shows.Wherever you are,you will be able to go into a nightclub and taste some Turkish food while enjoying yourself until morning. The discotheques in vacation places and the big cities have the latest facilities. Most Turkish museums are open everyday of the week, except Mondays.Palaces are also closed only on Mondays. The famous Topkapı Palace is closed on Tuesdays instead of Mondays.Owing to the emphasis placed on cleanness in Turkish society, there have been public baths houses in Turkey since medieval times. There are separate baths for men and women,or,when there is only one bath house in the town, different days or times of day are allocated to men and women.
There is no doubt that one visit will not be enough, and you will want to come back again anad again as you discover one extraordinary place after another. All of them,no matter how different, have one thing in common, the friendly and hospitable people of this unique country…
