Easyjet are the cheapest. Depending on your dates they can be as little as £40 return from Luton.

But they fly to the Asian side and not Attaturk and if you are staying on the European side you need to consider the cost of the taxi fair. Also dont take the first price at face value - they add on airport tax which can be around £20-30 depending on where you fly from in the UK.

you dont have to take taksi. They have cheap buses. My guess is about 10 Euro to Taksim or Sultan Ahmet

Thanks guys...i didn't know i'd get so many replys...i think easyjet are the cheapest..looked lastnight and i can get a return flight to istanbul for £58!! what a bargain!!
