Rüyalar bile geceleri bekler
Dreams, even, wait for the night
Gizlice görünmek için
to appear secretly
Yüreğimdesin, saklısında içimin
you, in my heart, in the secret place inside of me
Gizlice sevgilim
Secretly my love
Kimse bilmesin üzgünlüğümü
Nobody knows my sadness
Taşırım ölümüm gibi bu duyguyu
I carry this feeling as my death
En gizli kuytularında ömrümün
in the most secret quiet and secluded part of my life
Bir yer var gizlice sevgilimin uyuduğu
There is a place where my love, secretly, sleeps
Gizlice sevgilim, yaşam kadar acı
Secretly my love, bitter as life itself
Canımı tutuşturan özlem gibi
As longing burns my soul
Özlüyorum derin yokoluşta

Solar ansızın yapraklar.
Şaşırır yolunu denizde gemi
Boşuna bir liman arar.
GülüşÃ¼ bir yabancının
Çalmıştır senden sevdiğini,
İçinde biriken zehir
Sadece kendini öldürecektir.
Ölümdür yaşanan tek başına
Aşk, iki kişiliktir.
Bir anı bile kalmamıştır
Geceler boyu sevişmelerden
Binlerce yıl uzaklardadır
Binlerce kez dokunduğun ten.
Yazabileceğin şiirler
Çoktan yazılıp bitmiştir.
Ölümdür yaşanan tek başına
Aşk, iki kişiliktir.
Avutamaz olur artık
Seni bildiğin şarkılar.
Boşanır keder zincirlerinden
Sular, tersin tersin akar.
Bir hançer gibi çeksen de sevgini
Onu ancak öldürmeye yarar.
Uçarı kuşu sevdanın
Alıp başını gitmiştir
Ölümdür yaşanan tek başına
Aşk, iki kişiliktir.
Yitik bir ezgisin sadece,
Tüketilmiş ve düşmüş gözden.
Düşlerinde bir çocuk hıçkırır
Gece camlara sürtünürken.
Çünkü, hiç bir kelebek
Tek başına yaşamaz sevdasını.
Severken hiçbir böcek,
Hiç bir kuş yalnız değildir.
