I think that who ever gets the message, myself included, it means that someone has tryed to hack into their account! I don't know why they would want to do that, but it seems to be the case.

Yes, it certainly means that someone is trying to break up to our accounts!
And this is true that it seems to be case.
I also got more than 10 mentioned messages. I ignored and deleted them.

But few days ago I received to my e-mail folowing message:

" merhaba,, iam yusuf ,, i had heared about u in turkishclass.com that u r one of the most active members on this site
i would like to be active and share in making good work
could u plz tell me how ,
iam so intersted in turkey and turkish people"

I've already heard that the same person asked about me people at chat, and wrote message to me in guest book, asking me to contact him, but this message was deleted - I don't know by whom.

I answered that before any communication I want to know how he got my e-mail adress. This is his answer:

"thank u for answering me
in anwer to your question ,,, iam studyin medicine(so i think it should me smart) i think that so its easy for me to get your email
plz i would like to share u in making good things on site plz tell me how to start
i want talk with u about that plz add my email its yusuf***@***.com
thank u a lot"

Of course I'm not satisfied with this answer. I can't imagin any other way to get my address but breaking into my account. So I don't want to communicate with so smart person. If he's so interested in "making good things on site", there's list of administrators, he can ask them how to contribute.

I would like to know did anybody have similar experience and what do you think about whole situation.

My my Slavicam seems you found yourself a fan
I know this guy from another forum where he openly stated that he was looking for a Turkish girl to marry. Maybe he changed his preferences now and he's interested in Serbs
He says he studies medicine...maybe you should consider him, huh

Hi Slavica

I too have been having bother with this guy…and he has tried to add me to his contacts on msn. I didn’t recognise the email address (yusuf***@hotmail.com) so I declined the offer…then later whilst on this website a saw an entry in the guest book from him (and giving his email address for people to contact him - because he wants to marry a turkish girl or something). I informed admin about this because I wondered how he got my email address and this is the reply…

''I see how this guy got your e-mail address. You probably received an e-mail with your password (I have done - like may others). When you go to the 'forgot password' page and request your password giving your user name, the page displays to which e-mail address the password was sent to. This is a mistake on my part and I corrected it today, sorry. It is safe now, nobody else can see your password. So, the message you received with your password is actually what this guy used to get your e-mail address. I will ban this guy from the web site in a few minutes. Sorry for the trouble,

Regards,

-admin''

I hope this clarifies things for you and hope that he doesn’t bother you again (cos he seems a bit crazy !!!!)

Take care X

JFraser...I totally agree about him being a bit crazy and also rather desperate. I too received 2 of the password emails. He was trying to add himself to my MSN too....I blocked him.

Hi!
I guess this guy bothered a lot of people. i also received one of those" strange emails", and that same guy added me to his ccontact on msn and has been bothering me a lot since then so had to block him. He really sounds desperate to marry a turkish girl. Good that you have banned him from the site; he's been causing too much headaches.

We spotted this guy and deleted his account. I see that he created a new account, which will also be deleted shortly.

I think after some small changes I have made, you won't receive unexpected password reminder messages again.
