Sentence order - again

Today's Travlang Word of The Day seems a little odd!!!

It suggests that "I would like to buy ..." should be "almak istiyorum ..." but shouldn't the noun come at the start of the sentence? "... almak istiyorum".

For example:
ekmek almak istiyorum not almak istiyorum ekmek
or are they both correctly ordered sentences?

Turkish is a free formatted language which means you can freely order units but not in this case. There are some subunits which can not be re-ordered.
Ekmek almak is a verb of two words and they should not be re-ordered.

If we use dashes to show the subunits

ekmek-almak-istiyorum is a subunit so it should not be re-ordered.

However if we modify your example a little.

Bugün sana başka-bir-yerden ekmek-almak-istiyorum.
I want to buy you some bread from somewhere else.

Now if we re-order Turkish sentence the following one is possible (for example):
ekmek-almak-istiyorum bugün başka-bir-yerden sana

There are 4 subunits in the Turkish sentence so there must be 24 permutations. Any of them should be OK.
