I now have my cook book and have been reading it with interest. Yes there is quite a lot to read about the chef who has written the book. I am slightly disappointed that he now lives in America (no reflection on America!) so I do feel that some of the recipes will be slanted according to the ingredients he can buy.

I also live in quite a rural part of the England and you really need access to an Asian food shop to get some of the ingredients - which sunny Norfolk does not have too many of lol.

Another disappointing thing about the book is the lack of photo's for each recipe. I like to know what I am cooking and I wonder if the book is aimed at people who already know what the dishes look like!

I am yet to try out any recipes, but no doubt I will soon, perhaps on my unsuspecting friends!!
