As an Englishman moving to Istanbul in the summer of 2007 I wanted to find out if in Istanbul there is Job Centres or Employment centres where you can browse job vacancies for work in and around Istanbul. I have not got a teaching English degree or cannot perform teaching however I have very good spoken and written English I am sure there are some positions that would require a good standard of English for working in Istanbul. Anyone got any advice where to look or how to find out more information please

I would check out this company they are located all over the world, including Istanbul. A friend of mine is currently working for them, and it's a great company.

you can get information from British Council in İstanbul. As far as I know there are "teaching English certificate programs" for native speakers.
