I was talking to a turkish friend, from Black Sea and he told me that he is muslim bogomil. He can't explain it so good because he speaks not so much english. So I looked for bogomil on the web but I could only find about christian bogomil. Can you explain this part of Islam? Thanks.

It is a Christian sect which appeared between 10-15 century in eastern Europe. But during Ottoman Empire's ruling, they converted to Islam easily because they didnt belive in trinity but belived in the unity of The Creator. So after seeing their belief is very close to Islam, most of them converted (especially Bosnians and some Bulgarians.) Maybe your friend meant that he is believing in the unity of the Creator but didnt accept Islam, who knows!!

He told me that there are muslim and christian bogomil, but he is muslim. He also told me that bogomil were against church and priests, and that there were chevalier like crusades, who wore special sealrings, and his grandfather lost his a few days until he dead. He said that he only believes in God.
