I want to go to Istanbul to work after I finish uni (in about 8 years time from now). How much does a doctor earn in Istanbul (working in state hospitals) and will this be enough to live off? Also will I be able to get a job with UK qualifications?

@ Susie K......Daryush: Doctors earn good money in all countries and their salary is higher than those who are 'casual' workers, due to the fact it takes 8 years to graduate from University (though in some counrties it is 6 years).
You are able to work abroad basically anywhere with a degree as a doctor.

By the way your Turkish sucks! only joke, but it needs correcting

the doctors who work for state dont earn good money and they have important problems:S you can earn good money if you work for private hospitals..but you have to know turkish well and as far as i know foreign doctors cant perform an operation..i dont know why:S

üniversiteyi bitirdikten sonra istanbula çalışmak için gitmek istiyorum ( 8 yıl sonra ) bir doktor ne kadar kazanır.( devlet hastanesinde) ve gecinmek için bu yeterli olacak mı? ayrıca İngiliz kriteleriyle ( or nitelikleriyle ) bir iş bulmam mümkün olur mu?
