Sony KV2553-MT TV with vertical problem. There is a bright line close to the top of the screen and the picture from this line up is stretched. I checked all connections and soldered them. I checked the vertical signal on the vertical coil on the screen tube with scope and it seems truncated, I replaced the vertical IC (upc1498) and it didn't help. I checked the power supply to this IC and it was 28V, when I connected external power supply of 30V the problem disappears! The original power supply is coming from the flyback, I checked and replaced the rectifier and all the components regarding this power supply and they are good. Could it be bad flyback? And how can I find one?
The vertical filter caps need to be replaced. They have the same prefix location as the vertical IC.
