for instance, I am beautiful is 'ben güzelim' but I am waiting nicely (that is just an example): 'bekliyorum güzel' ?? is it thus out of the viewpoint of grammar correct?

Adjectives can be used as adverbs as well. There are some adverbs that may not be used as adjectives on the other hand.
Examples:
Şimdi = now
Hemen = immediately

"güzel bekliyorum" is possible but "güzelce bekliyorum" sounds better.

-ce suffix is used to make adverbs. It's attached to nouns. So
güzel (noun)
güzelce (adverb) -- nicely, beautifully

Without -ce suffix, it would be OK though.

In some cases there may be some ambiguities:
Güzel gidiyor -- it's going nicely (güzel is adverb)
Güzel gidiyor -- the beauty is going (güzel is noun)

-ce suffix more or less gives the meaning "in a manner".
güzelce gidiyor -- it's going in a nice way/manner.
