Skiing in Turkey

As it is coming up to that time of year when I don my ski wear and head for the slopes, I am considering Turkey for skiing next year.

Can anyone tell me what the slopes are like (and dont tell me they are sloped and snowy!! ) for example how hard they are? What the lift systems are like? and where the best places to go are.

What is the best time to go. For instance, Europe in January is often around -20deg C at night and the slopes get very hard and icy. I like a soft landing so we usually opt for February when you often get slightly warmer weather and more snow!

Excellent Kai, thanks! Just need to locate some ski maps to see how difficult the runs are.

If you want to ski some of the best and most challenging slopes in Turkey, go to Palandöken. If you want to ski with Turkey's rich and famous, go to Uludag.
Uludag gets very crowded, so you will have to plan in advance to get good rates here.
