Turkish Dinner Party

I've been invited to a dinner party Saturday evening by a Turkish couple that have children attending my high school. What on earth do I bring? There will be 4 Turkish couples in total at the gathering, and there will be plenty of Turkish food.
As an American, I have no clue what to bring. Usually when I go to a dinner party I bring a nice bottle of wine and sometimes flowers.
What is the tradition in Turkey when you go to someone's home for dinner?
I've been practicing my Turkish phrases, but would appreciate anything anyone has to offer. These are such kind and nice people.
"Memnun Oldum"
"Davetinize tesekkurler"
"Elinize saglik"
"Hersay cok lezzetli"
"Eviniz cok guzel ve cok buyuk"
"Fincan cay lutfen"
"iki tane lutfen"(sekar?)
Thanks,
Christine

Hi Christine,
I know when I visit Yilmaz's family I always bring dessert, flowers or some nuts or fruit. Sometimes they have hostess gifts, like candles or nice writing paper. Your idea of a nice bottle of wine and/or flowers I am sure would be welcome.

The best will be flower in my oppinion, wine might not please them if they dont drink alcohol but flower will please them even if they drink alcohol.

Well having a Turkish family etc I would also suggest the flowers and maybe some turkish tradtional sweet/dessert. Some do not drink alchohol...although if you did bring a bottle of wine they will not be disheartened by it as they know you are from a diferent culture and would accept the offer in kindness and they will understand that you meant well

Thank you for the wonderful ideas! They do drink alcohol, as the host informed me he found a bottle of raki for the occasion. I will stop by the Turkish grocery and see what I can find, and take sweets and flowers. I am so looking forward to it!
