Haydarpaşa Station at night
In the old days of the Orient Express, the train would terminate at Sirkeci and passenger would cross the Bosphorus by ferry. Then they would board the train again at Haydarpaşa, the Asian terminal of the railway, and could continue on to Baghdad.

Today it is a major commuter terminus, connecting with the ferry to Karaköy. (Location: Istanbul)
