Old British Naval Hospital
Old British Naval Hospital
Just down the hill from the Galata Tower is an area that had great British significance in the end of the Ottoman era. This hospital is still in use today. It was a British Naval Hospital, and inside you can see a lot of old features, inlcuding a fully working laundry dating from 1904. It is now a general hospital run by the Turkish health authorities. (Location: Galata, Istanbul)
