Old prison
Old prison
During the last century of the Ottoman era this building was a British prison. It was bought a number of years ago by a top Turkish architect, lovingly restored, and is now a boutique restaurant. In some rooms you can see graffiti on the walls from the original inmates. (Location: Galata, Istanbul)
