A quiet Sunday morning with a traditional Turkish breakfast and gorgeous views of the Bosphorus in the waterfont neighborhood of Ortaköy is a perfect way to start the day. Then head to the market and get purchasing: long, ropey necklaces in all colors sparkle in the sun alongside chunky bracelets made of painted glass beads and silver charms. Then there are the other stalls selling hand-knitted hats, scarves and wraps and beautiful copper platters. The wide expanse of the plaza keeps everyone from getting too crowded and a selection of cafes and restaurants offer a welcome break. (Location: Ortakoy)
