Manavgat is a town situated at a distance of 76 km from Antalya, on the banks of the river Manavgat. Near the city of Manavgat, the Manavgat River has a waterfall. The town is also the centre of Manavgat District in the Antalya Province. Much of the district is surrounded by a flat plain and thank to that fertile farmland agriculture is well-developed. There is no industry except for food-processing, so apart from agriculture the local economy depends on tourism. (Location: Manavgat)
