Among the stadiums in Anatolia, Perge stadium is the one which has survived through the present day in best conditions. Stadium has a race field of the sizes 34x234 m. and it dates back to 2nd century AD with a capacity of 12000 people.
Under the sitting places along the long eastern edge there are thirty interiors aligned side by side. Some interiors has an entrance to the arena, the rest of the interiors functioned as the shops. At the entries of these shops there are writings which show the names or the professions of their owners.
