Sillyon is located on a hill with the altitude of 210m. in the alluvium plain formed by the river Aksu and between the cities of Perge and Aspendos, 10km from the road which separates from the Antalya – Alanya highway towards the north. Other than the western side it is not possible to climb the hill where the Sillyon was founded. Therefore on the western slopes of the hill the defense system of Sillyon was built. In the front section there are the walls supported by the towers and the main gates of the city and the grades built on the slopes of the hill behind these walls. (Location: Antalya)
