Here you can see the entrance to the Third Courtyard of the Topkapi Sarayi,the residence of all the Ottomans sultans until the reign of Abdulmecid I(1839-1860).Its construction was ordered by Sultan Mehmet II in 1459.Nowadays Topkapi Palace is among the most visited touristic places in Istanbul.
