in fact it means that "your older brother". but in Turkish you can use it for men which are older than you.
the exact word is "ağabey", but shortly it is used as "ağbi" or "abi".

So in the translation, these two are the same...
kardesin = brother
agbin = older brother.
And would adding -ler make it BROTHERS? Or am I way off?

well kardesin means not brother, it means "your brother"
same for agbin which means "your older brother"
the following may be helpfull i guess
kardes= sister or brother (generally)
kiz kardes= sister(does not matter older or younger)
erkek kardes = brother (does not matter older or younger)
abla= older sister
agbi= older brother
kucuk kiz kardes (aka baci)= younger sister
kucuk erkek kardes (aka birader)= younger brother
for make plural addin "ler" or "lar" is enough.
your older brother= ağbin
your older brothers= ağbinler
