after listening to "The Cranberries" for a while I got a little "nostalgic" .. this music took me back to old days when I was a younger, beautiful and worry-free

...and my mother used to ask me if there wasnt anything else outthere to listen to besides The Cranberries

The old days?????? The Cranberries have not been around that long............................... have they? :-S

I have a feeling that they have not been around as long as the bands that would qualify to be my "good old days"

Not really, they haven’t been around for too long.. I begun to listen to this band since they first started, I think it was back in 1992, of course back then I was only 21 so for me those day are still considered old days
(my good old days are back in the 80's)

Great mood, I'm off on Monday and going to the flower show at Coney Island...then off to Toledo on Tuesday to counsel a colleague about drinking on the job. We have had three reports the colleague is bringing a box, yes box of wine in her duffel bag to work and pouring it in a to go cup. What turn of events.. lol

I did an investigation of three witnesses who validated her drinking on the job. However, this colleague appears to have problems at home and typically is a good employee and has been with the company for several years.

We have a progressive disciplinary process and an EAP (Employee Assistance Program) for substance abuse and really any issues an employee maybe going through. Could be financial, divorce etc.

We certainly care about our employees, therefore she will receive a warning and the company policy regarding drinking during worked hours will not be tolerated. If she continues with such behavior, further disciplinary actions and possible termination will take place.

We don't necessarily fire someone for this. The same thing with someone having a drug problem we would also refer them to the EAP. It is up to them whether they seek help and whether or not they want to stay employed. As I always say, companies don't fire people. People fire themselves. Does that make sense?
