Noun Sentences
Answer questions 1 - 3 based on the following text:

In Turkish we have noun sentences. A noun sentence is the equalent of a sentence that is using the verb "to be" (am, is, are, was, were, has been, have been).

 

Examples:

Hava çok sıcak.

The weather is too hot.  

 

Bu mavi.

This is blue.

 

Noun sentences can have either a noun or an adjective but they don´t have a verb. To make verb sentences negative we use a negative suffix:

 

Example:

Ali geldi. > Al gelmedi.

Ali geliyor. > Ali gelmiyor.

 

To make a noun sentence negative we use "değil" (not).

 

Bu mavi değil.

This isn´t blue.

Hava sıcak değil.

The weather isn´t how.

 

Make these noun sentences negative :

 

Example:

This is the given sentence: "Bu mavi."

This is your answer: "Bu mavi değil."

Answer questions 4 - 6 based on the following text:

Using given information, construct a question and answer the question again according to the information.

 

Example:  

This is the given sentence: "Hava çok sıcak değil."

This is your answer:

"Hava çok sıcak mı?"

"Hayır, hava çok sıcak değil.
