The idea is to have this a cooperative learning resource, through building up meanings in a whole-language fashion.
Starting with this lesson title:

bir = one, a
   Bir hamburger istiyorum (iss-tih-your-ruhm), lütfen (loot-fehn). 
       =  I want a hamburger, please.
   istemek (iss-teh-mehck) = to want
   -iyorum (-ih-your-ruhm) = I ... -ing /present continuous tense/: 
       eg. istiyorum = I am wanting

kolay
(kolaay) = easy, not difficult

başlangıç
(bahsh-lahn-gech) = (a) beginning

başlamak
(bahsh-lah-mahck) = to begin
   Ders ne zaman başlıyor ?(bahsh-leh-your) = What time does the lesson begin?
   ders (daRs) = lesson
   ne (neh) = what
   zaman (zah-mahn) = time /noun/
   başlıyor = it begins

 

Present continuous tense:

1. istemek = to want

istiyorum (iss-tih-your-ruhm) = i am wanting (used in the sense of "I want")
istiyorsun (iss-tih-your-suhn) = you are wanting (used in the sense of "you want") /singular/
istiyor (iss-tih-your)    etc.

istiyoruz (iss-tih-your-ruhz)   etc.
istiyorsunuz (iss-tih-your-suh-nuhz)=you are wanting (used in the sense of "you want") /plural/
istiyorlar (iss-tih-your-laahR)   etc.

2. başlamak = to begin

başlıyorum (bahsh-leh-your-ruhm) = i am beginning (used in the sense of "I begin")
başlıyorsun    etc.   =you /singular/...
başlıyor         etc.   =he, she, it...
başlıyoruz      etc.   =we...
başlıyorsunuz  etc.   =you... /plural/
başlıyorlar      etc.  = they are beginning (used in the sense of "they begin").
