SYNTAX IV - Mixed Examples

 

Hello again. In previous lessons we learnt how to set new sentences in Turkish, but sencentes of verb! Syntax that we learnt was for verb sentences. Now, in this lesson, we are going to set example sentences to emphasize our knowledge.

 

 

Eve döndüm: I turned to home.

 

 

Biz dün derse girmedik: We didn´t attend to class yesterday.

 

 

Mutfağı, banyoyu, balkonu, antreyi ve diğer odaları temizledik: We cleaned the kitchen, bathroom, balcony, entrance and other rooms.

 

 

Bilgisayarı aç, geliyorum! : Turn on the computer, I´m now coming!

 

 

Akşama evde olmayacağım, beni beklemeyin : I´m not going to be at home on evening, don´t wait me.

 

 

Q: Neredesiniz? Where are you?

 

 

A: Duraktayız, seni bekliyoruz, çabuk ol! : We´re in the stop, waiting you, be quick!

 

 

Bu kitabı çok istedi ama vermedim: He wanted to borrow this book but I didn´t lend him.

 

 

Eyvah, ders notlarımı unuttum! : Oh, God! I forgot to take my lesson notes!

 

 

Q: Sınav sonuçlarına baktın mı? Did you check the result exams?

 

 

A: Evet. Ben 50 almışım, sen 45 almışsın : Yes, I did. I´m 50 points and you´re 45 points.

 

 

Q: Nerede kaldınız? Where have you been?

 

 

A: Yoldayız, trafiğe takıldık: We´re on road, we caught by the traffic!

 

 

Telefonum çalışmıyor! My telephone isn´t working!
