lesson 6 - the suffix ´let´

This lesson is for the ´let´ suffix

verb + a/e + personal suffix

Personal suffixes

Let me im
Let you sin
Let him No suffix
Let´s lim
Let you siniz
Let them sinler

Example

Let me be

ol + a + yım

olayım

(notice the buffer y)

Let you come

gel + e + sin

gelesin

Let him take

al + sın

alsın

have you noticed with ´let him/her/it´ we haven´t added the ´a´ before the personal suffix? With the ´let him/her/it´ you don´t: you simply either add just the ´a/e´ or just ´sin´

Let her come

gel + sin

gelsin

Let´s believe

inan + a + lım

inanalım

Let you give

ver + e + siniz

veresiniz

Let them promise

söz ver + sinler

söz versinler

Have you noticed with ´let them´ we haven´t added the ´a´ before the personal suffix? like the ´let him/her/it´ you don´t: you simply add ´sinler´

Using the examples above try to make your own sentences
