-eyim, -elim

Indeed, "-eyim/ayım" and "-elim/ayım" are analysed as

e+im(1st type of personal suffix of 1st singular)---------->-eyim

e+lim(personal suffix of 1st plural, special for this mood)-->-elim

I can´t translate this term into English, excuse me. I´m writing only the conjugations of 1st singular and 1st plural because the other ones are almost never used nowadays. You may see them in the archaic poems or texts.

This mood is translated by "let" as well. But here is no permission meaning like there wasn´t the previous mood. We can suppose this is an imperative mood to ourselves.

dayı (the uncle (the brother of the mother))

tanıştırmak (to introduce (transitive)) (direct: to make someones meet each other for first time)

sen+i(accusative)------------------------>seni (you)

dayı+m+la------------------------------->dayımla (with my uncle)

tanıştır+a+ım----------------------------->tanıştırayım (let me introduce)

Seni dayımla tanıştırayım. (Let me introduce you my uncle) (direct: let me introduce you with my uncle.)

uyumak (to sleep)

rahat (1relax, still, 2the comfort)

rahat+sız-->rahatsız (1uncomfortable, 2anxious, 3ill)

rahatsız etmek (to disturb)

uyu+yor+lar+ise-->uyu+yor+lar+se-->uyu+yor+lar+sa-->uyuyorlarsa (if they´re sleeping)

et+me+e+lim----->etmeyelim

Uyuyorlarsa rahatsız etmeyelim. (Let´s not disturb [them] if they are sleeping.)

lütfen (please)

ses (1the sound, 2the voice)

olmak (to be)

ses+siz--------->sessiz (silent, quiet (direct: soundless, voiceless))

ol+a+lım-------->olalım (let´s be)

Lütfen sessiz olalım! (Let´s be quiet, please!)

konuşmak (1to talk, 2to speak)

uyumak (to sleep)

konuş+ma+ın--->konuşmayın (don´t speak)

uyu+abil+e+lim->uyuyabilelim (let´s be able to sleep)

How to make the interrogative form?

git+e+lim mi-------->gidelim mi? (shall we go?)

araba+ile---->araba+yle-->arabayla (by car (direct: with car))

Bu sefer arabayla gidelim mi? Hava çok sıcak. Yürümek zor olur. (Shall we go by car this time? The weather is too hot. It is difficult to walk.)

sen+e(dative)------->sana (to you)

-->Indeed there is no question meaning. Means: "isn´t it necessary that I thank her?" or "of course I need to thank her" or something like this.

If you want to think as meaning of permission: "I couldn´t decide, whether should I thank or not. In your opinion?"
