There is no detailed situation. It is the fact that "de" can be used instead of "ama". Just this, nothing else. Therefore no need to write a plenty of examples.

yatmak (1to lie, 2to go to the bed, 3to be cancelled, 4to have a sex, 5... 6...)

uyumak (to sleep)

Yattı ama uyuyamadı. (He went to the bed but he couldn´t sleep.)

=Yattı fakat uyuyamadı.

=Yattı da uyuyamadı.

kazak (pullover), pahalı (expensive), yine de (nevertheless), almak (1to take, 2to buy, 3..4..5..)

O kazak çok pahalı ama yine de alacağım. (That pullover is too expensive but I am going to buy it nevertheless.)

=O kazak çok pahalı da yine de alacağım.

=O kazak çok pahalı fakat yine de alacağım.
