IMPERATIVE - EMİR KİPİ We use it when we want to command someone. Yapmak -> To do I -> You can not command yourself. YOU -> Yap! (Nominative case of the verb. Without -mak/-mek) HE-SHE-IT -> Yapsın! (-sın/-sin/-sun/-sün) WE -> We can not command ourselves. YOU (PLURAL-FORMAL) -> Yapın! (-ın/-in/-un/-ün) THEY -> Yapsınlar! (-sınlar/-sinler/-sunlar/-sünler)
If there is "a" or "ı" letter in latest syllable, we use; He-she-it -> -sın You -> -ın They -> -sınlar If there is "o" or "u" letter in latest syllable, we use; He-she-it -> -sun You -> -un They -> -sunlar If there is "e" or "i" letter in latest syllable, we use; He-she-it -> -sin You -> -in They -> -sinler If there is "ö" or "ü" letter in latest syllable, we use; He-she-it -> -sün You -> -ün They -> -sünler ANLAMAK -> TO UNDERSTAND Radical -> Anla (It is also command for "you" subject.) Syllable -> An-la Latest syllable -> -la We should use -> -sın/-ın/-sınlar He-she-it -> Anlasın! You -> Anlayın! ("y" is integration letter.) They -> Anlasınlar!
YAPMAK – TO DO BİLMEK – TO KNOW KOYMAK – TO PUT
NEGATIVE FORM:
When we want to make a sentence negative in imperative you should follow these steps:
1. First you should remove infinitive. (-mek / -mak) * Gitmek (Go) -> Git *Git + me
That´s all. This negative form is for "you" subject. If you want to transform it for other subjects, you should add appendix from the table above.
*Git + me -> Gitme (You) Sen gitme!
ATTENTION!!
For "He-She-It" -> -sın / -sin
So I mean; (+) Görmek -> Gör + sün -> Görsün (He-She-It) O Görsün! For "He-She-It" -> -sın / -sin
*(+) Oturmak (To sit) -> Otur -> Oturun -> (You / plural) *(-) Oturmak -> Otur -> Oturma -> Oturma + sın (You - plural) You should use privative regularly. "-ma" is used if there is "a - ı - o - u" in last slyllable.
* Uyumak (To sleep) -> Uyu + ma You should add "-ma" because there is "u" in last slyllable.
*(+) Sormak (To ask) -> Sor / Sorsun / Sorsunlar
*(+) Yazmak (To write) -> Yaz / Yazsın / Yazsınlar |
