Now, some sentences for telling you or somebody is sick.

    - I am sick. (Hastayım.)

    - I am very sick. (Çok hastayım.)

    - I have a toothache. (Dişim ağrıyor.)

    - I have a cold. (Nezleyim. or Nezle oldum.)

    - I got sick. (Hasta oldum. or Hastalandım.)

    - I don´t feel well. (İyi hissetmiyorum. )

    - My foot is itching. (Ayağım kaşınıyor.)

 

If somebody tells you that he is sick or somebody close to him is sick, you say:

    - Geçmiş olsun. (This is like wishing for recovery.)
