Hi,I am currently living in Turkey and I have elderly parents coming to stay. I need to buy non-biological washing powder to wash their bedding for their arrival and clothes whilst they are here. Can anyone please either tell me which brand name to buy or what I need to look for on the packaging. I have tried, but failed to find some. Thanks in anticipation

what is non-biological powder? What about using detergent for infants? This is generally the mildest.

Coincidentally I saw an advert for something like this yesterday, the Magic Washing Ball
I don't know what to believe of it, but it might be helpful to you...

Btw, since you put this in the language thread instead of off-topic, we should call this the Sihirli Çamaşır Yıkama Topu

You don't do the washing then ?
Biological powders get your whites, whiter than white where as a non-biological powder leaves your white less than white

Anyway, if you don't trust/find the ball, I think you should look or ask for "çevre dostu" detergents (environmentally friendly/safe detergents).

Are there any English brands out in Turkey such as Persil? That has the ball - the liquid version.
