lol why heart-attack?big deal!I still think they are cool esp.because they use the car-horn so much =) there is special language u know! one short beep means "I am coming through" one long beep means"I am coming through get out of my way" two beeps mean "I am going to turn", three-four beeps along with a"merhaba" mean "hello my fellow taxi driver" and a very very long beep means "I am coming through and I can't stop nor turn"

I am an expert in the taxi drivers =)better choose middle-aged or young ones they won't cheat u =) and bear in mind that the ones that are talkative are the ones most likely to try and get advantage of u =) but generally u'll LOVE the ride ehehehe esp.in Sultanahmet....hihihihih...watch how the grannies jump on the side of the road!!!!!
By the by,sign language also works for people who wanna cross a road!If it's red and u wanna cross it just stick out your finger to the drivers (uhm,the second one no the middle one)and they'll stop and let you pass(but if u hear the long horn then the finger won't help u)!!!!
