Sun, while saying hello this morning with its warm face
To my cold body that is trying to get out of the darkness,
I couldn't open my eyes to say hello to you too.
It wouldn't be like I've imagined again, this morning
You wouldn't be by my side, I wouldn't be able to see your blueness
Happiness rains wouldn't rain on me
What would happen if I said hello every day
To this warm sun that comes to my window... |

Bugün kar var dısarda,
Buz gibi bir hava, parmaklarım dunmus uyandıgımda
Baktım bembeyaz bir örtü kaplamıs tüm acıların üstünü
Gülümsedim, pencerimin demirlerine konmuş kücük bir serceye
Birseyler soylemek ister gibi baktı bana
Sanki, üsüme, bu kıs gecer bahar gelir diyordu
Hangi mevsim seni bana getirir ki? hangi bahar? hangi kış?
Mevsimleri saymaktansa hep bir ümitle,
Bırak, herzaman kar yagsın acılarımın üstüne

soulmates
i had often wondered
what does to have a soulmate mean
does it really ever happen
or is it simply just a dream
then suddenly into my life
came the greatest gift i could receive
a soulmate who has brought more joy than i ever could believe.
For i knew from when i met you
we had something very rare
it was as if we were as one
and we would for each other care
far deeper even than my my heart
is the love i feel for you.
The way it lies within my soul
tells me it's really true
for, before i'd never found
such meaning in each day
nor the close and loving bond
i share with you in every way.
i would be grateful if anybody could also translate this into turkish. xx

if i could dream a special dream
and have that dream come true
i would dream of love and happiness

as each days dawns and starts anew
and each day ends i think of you
and inbetween, no matter where
in my thoughts

There's snow outside today,
Ice cold weather, my fingers froze* when I woke up
I saw that a pure white cover has covered all the pains
I smiled to a little sparrow that perched on my window's bars
It looked at me as if wanting to say something
Like saying, don't be cold, this winter ends and spring comes
But which season brings you to me? Which spring? Which winter?
Instead of counting the seasons with an endless hope
Leave it, let snow fall on my pain always.
*I hope you meant "donmuş"
