Wasn´t sure where to post this. Is Lemon Curd something that Turkish people make? I was thinking of taking some for my friends but I don´t want to take it if it´s something that´s already common there. Thanks in advance.

I just checked it on the net to see what it is, as being from İstanbul, I have never tried and seen it. For me it´s a new thing.

I read that it is something from England. I have never heard and tried either.

Thanks everyone. I´ve made it myself several times, I just wanted to make sure I wasn´t taking something to my Turkish friends, that they already knew very well. It´s also known as lemon cheese although there´s no cheese in it.

You can use it as you would jam. So you can eat it on bread or make tarts with it.My mum used to make it too.
