Beni uykudan uyandirir uyandirmaz
Dünyanin bütün huylari yüzünde
Ben bunlardan birini seviyorum en çok
Sana bir nar kesip uzatiyor ya doga
Tutsam tanelerini
Sevincin gözyaslari derdim buna.
Bir süre bakisiyoruz karsilikli
Ben uykudan uyanir uyanmaz
Benimle siir gibidir bu
Tam karsimda ama yazilmamis
Durmadan bileniyor aklimda.
Seni unutarak baktigimda bile
Dünyanin her yerlerinden geçiyorsun
Yayiliyorsun kalabaliklara
Yalniz yayilmak mi
Askin en büyügü, en dayanilmazi demeli buna.
Özlenirsin, alabildigine varsin da
Daha da var oluyorsun gün günden
Olgun bir meyva gibi güleceksin zamanla
Bir kadin da degilsin, bir kisi de degilsin
Bir kus olsa mavilik derdi buna.

It would call it ´blue sky´
As soon as you wake me up,
All characters of the world are on your face.
I love one of them at the most.
Think of the nature giving you a slice of pomegranate.
If I hold of its seeds,
I would call it tears of joy.
We are staring at each other for a while,
As soon as I wake up.
This is like a poem and me.
Just in front of me but yet to be written.
As it is distilled in my mind constantly.
Even I forget what I stare at,
You go through the every corner of the world.
You are spreading around people.
Is it only spreading?
It should be called the greatest, the most amazing love.
You get missed, your being is endless but
You are becoming more each day.
You will be smiling like a ripened fruit with the time.
You are not a woman only, nor a person.
if it was a sparrow, it would call it ´blue sky´.

I love the emotion of Turkish poetry and would love to hear this read in Turkish in the vein it was written. I am sure the hairs on the back of my neck would be standing to attention 
)
