Controversial stuff here "sexist road hog men"  " hesitant slow to respond women"  Not to mention the mobile glued to their ear. What about all those 4 by 4 drivers who have never been off the tarmac.

Well - I have driven 4x4's (always LandRover products) for over a decade on and off. And they have all been off tarmac on a regular basis. Plus we have a caravan so the Discovery is regularly on towing duty.
It is amazing how thankful people become of a 4x4 when they try and drive their car onto a campsite and it gets bogged down - rescued only by a 4x4 and a good stout tow rope!!!
Plus of course - come the time for the campfire - a strong rope attached to the bumper and slung around a dead tree soon provides a source of heat for the next few hours.......and entertainment for the kids as they chop the dead tree into burnable sized logs

Well, until now, I have the impression that they don't seem to work 
Don't get me wrong, I feel for you. But the dentist fixes stuff, so that money is well spent..

)...the roads have been wonderful during the school holidays but now everyone is back to school the roads are clogged every morning again with these "tanks" - usually with just one small child sitting in each one! And...much as I hate to moan about my own sex, women drivers are hesitant, slow to respond and DRIVE ME INSANE!
