Can anyone explain to me the following exercise:

Would you address the following people with SEN or SIZ?

The books answer is in brackets but I dont understand why (some I got right)

a) anneniz (sen)
b) şefiniz (siz)
c) bir bakkal (siz)
d) kuaförünüz (siz)
e) küçük bir boyacı (sen)
f) bir polis (siz)
g) eşiniz (sen)

I would be grateful of any help, thanks

As you know, SİZ is used to address 2nd singular(SEN) if the receiver has higher statue than you. in Age or in rank etc. or just to show your respect to anybody who is not a close friend etc of you.

check these examples.

Senin annen. Subject - 2nd singular / object singular.
Sizin anneniz. Subject - 2nd singular or 2nd plural. / object singular

Sizin anneleriniz Subject - 2nd plural. / object plural

Tell your mom to come.
--> Annene gelmesini söyle.
---> Annenize gelmesini söyleyin(iz).

Tell your moms to come. --> Annelerinize gelmesini söyleyin(iz).
