Yýllar Sonra

Bundan yýllar sonra,
Baþým yastýðýmda, beklerken son nefesimi
Anýlar geçecek gözlerimin önünden birer birer
Titreyen ellerimde sadece ismin yazarken

Hala kalmýþsa iki damla yaþ, belki süzülecek
Gülümseyen yüzümdeki derin çukurlarýn arasýndan
Ne de çabuk geçti bir ömür diye düþüneceðim
Seninle geçen yýllar için Tanrýya þükrederken

Yavaþça kalkacaðým yataðýmdan bedenim uyurken
Belki bir kaç kiþi yanýmda aðlýyor olacak
Masmavi sonsuz gökyüzüne yükseleceðim yavaþ yavaþ
Gözlerinle geçen yýllar için Tanrýya þükrederken

i havent laughed so  much for weeks  

 its still waiting for translation

Many years later

Many years from now,
When my head is on my pillow, waiting for my final breath

Memories will pass before my eyes one by one

As my trembling hands are writing your name only

If I still have two tear drops left, maybe they will fall

Between the deep crevices of my smiling face

I will think how fast a lifetime passed

As I thank God for the years spent with you

I will get up slowly from my bed as my body sleeps

Maybe a few people will be crying by my side

I will slowly ascend to the deep-blue endless sky

As I thank God for the years spent with your eyes

Sahilde

Otururum sahilde bazen , denizi dinlemek için

Sende dinle bazen vakit buldukça

Dalgalar sanki birer kelime gibi vuruyor kumsala

Dinle bak neler neler anlatýyor..

Duyarsýn belki aþýklarýn haykýrýþlarýný, belki balýklarýn þarkýlarýný

Duydukça anlarsýn ve bir huzur kaplar benliðini

Ve belki bir gün bulabilirsin sana gönderdiðim,

Ýçinde ismin yazan  o küçük þiþeyi...

On the shore

I sit by the shore sometimes, to listen to the sea

When you find the time, you listen too sometimes

The waves beat against the sand, each one like a word

Listen to the things they are saying..

Maybe you can hear the cries of those who are in love, maybe the songs of the fish

The more you listen the more you understand, and a peace floods your inner being

And maybe one day you will find what I sent you,

That little bottle with your name written inside...

Incomplete

the grey sky looming above,
rain drops still dripping down
from the pregnant clouds above,
we set out on our journey once again;

around and around we go
in slow circles, moving
to the beat of the thunder
and rain that surrounds us;

as the droplets hit the ground,
shattered realizations lay scattered
reminding me nothing is same
as it seems to be;

as another memory turns to dust
i cut the lifeline that attaches me to the past
and i shove it back into the depths
where nothing will ever bring it back alive;

the rain does nothing to stop our journey,
never forgetting, who we are
we walk these streets of madness,
knowing that,without each-other…..
we are simply incomplete.
