Aren't you in the Sacramento area? How is the air quality where you are? It's pretty hazy and smokey in the Bay Area. I've been from Alameda County to Contra Costa County and they are all hazy and smokey. It burns the eyes.

That's me actually alameda....lir is in Turkey. I have been in Chicago all week so I don't have first hand account but I was told last night that visibility in the valley is about a 1/4 mile. I'm heading home today so I will know personally tonight. It sounds like the whole state is on fire! Pretty bad where you are?

Of course....It's very overcast...it's not the usual fog....it's smoke. It burns the eyes, nose and throat. Personally I only really notice my eyes stinging, other people complain about their noses and throats. There are fires all over the place, south and north.
There are fires all over the state, North and South.

I flew in around 6:00 tonight and the visibility was so poor that you could not see the ground until we almost touched down. Once I walked out of the terminal it was like walking into a wall of smoke. The air was sooooo heavy.
