I´m not passing an opinion about the "ethics" of it, but it´s possible Afel thinks CA has got her hands on the details of a private conversation that wasn´t meant for her eyes. Perhaps Afel thinks she has no right to learn the content of it because she wasn´t involved in it and the two people involved don´t know she has the details.
I guess only Afel can tell us what he/she really meant.
From his response I would say the same. Perhap he thinks the content of the letter or email belongs between two other people.

And we know it does! Because she has been asking for translations of parts of a letter for the last couple of weeks - and it is pretty clear it´s not her letter!!!

But is it to us, users of TC, to decide of this letter is lawful possession of CrazyAngel? Can we say she is not allowed to know what is says as long as we don´t know how she get´s it? And I certainly think she does NOT need to tell us that. We are not judges, are we?

But not to me, as I have difficultly in keeping up, not being a regular TCer! So like that then I agree it is wrong to translate but perhaps it would have been better in a PM.
That is why I am a minor mod and not an average mod

If you have any other questions regarding this just BRING THEM ON...I have no hidden agenda as I am sure you have all noticed following this series of translation requests.
And by the way.....the one free of sin please feel free to cast the first stone!

Sorry...I don´t quite get it...why is it wrong to translate???
It is not offensive to anyone (but perhaps to me since it changes my perspective on alot of things in my life) and also NOONE on this site could possibly have any freakin idea who the people quoted are!!!! Just do me the favour of helping me out if you whish and if you have the kindness of puting your valuable time into it ( I c an assure you I am thankful from my heart), or do me the favour of butting out if you feel in anyway offended or that it is wrong.
Why don´t all of you that spend time on judging whether I am in the right of having other peoples conversations transalted, instead sit down for a second and tell me if it is not wrong that a married woman is hunting my husband...
/C.A. (about to go really crazy soon)

Sorry crazy, but since you are posting private messages for free translation on a public forum....have admitted that you are spying....have stated that you are trying to "keep up the interest" by posting the messages.....well then, you should expect that you will be judged.
You seem to have made a game of it, so why would get so offended when people discuss the content and your intent?
If it is a difficult for you to have people comment negatively on your posts, then you may want to think of finding another avenue for your covert activities....or...I dunno, maybe talk to your husband about all this!

I dont think she might have got offended cause other people comments on her posts.. but for judging her intention to find out what the messages say..... personally, I´m no one to judge or to support anyone but, putting myself in that situation (a married woman whose husband has conversations about other girls....... and doesnt comment them to me...) then I would see it looking suspicious, dont you think? After all, if it´s an innocent conversation then, there wouldnt be any problem to talk about it but, obviously, he doesnt talk about it to her......... so maybe that gives her the right to find out, instead of waiting for something big to come..... I always say, expect the best but prepare for the worse...............
Also, of course (if that was my case), I would like to get a little bit of proves before facing my husband and make a fuss for nothing............ but proves......... give you the right to claim...
Anyway.. I hope it´s not her case and that everything goes on ok for CA........
Peace................
