how about a mother´s love to a spiteful son? isn´t the love there one-sided? and if it isn´t mutual, is it wrong for a mother to love a son, just because the son doesn´t love him back?

That is the unconditional love of a parent to a child, but not all children love their parents in the same way.  Mutual love in my opinion is between two non-related people.

Mutual only means reciprocal. Therefore whether two people are related or not is irrelevant.

Two people can love eachother - one as a friend and the other one loves as a lover. Do they both love? Yes. It is mutual? Yes...mutual, but different.

Love is just a four letter word.

LOVE (ask) is a stretch of time, in which two persons seek to explore each other, madly and with an uncontrollable desire that defies all intellect.

This desire to explore and discover the other must be mutual; or love can not be fulfilled.

Most  LOVEs end when there is no more to be discovered in the other party. Only rarely LOVEs can develop into another level of  relation called sevgi (English Language is not rich enough to express the difference; hence the confusion). Sevgi is full identification of oneself with the other party, in which the two individuals become "one". Sevgi, once attained, is forever.

Sevgi is a high rank that requires spiritual maturity to attain. and can hardly be observed between cute and willing  tourist ladies and handsome hotel bar tenders.
